Biker charged with twice speed limit

Police have charged a 24-year-old Mandurah man after he was stopped by officers allegedly travelling more than twice the posted 80km/h speed limit.

The man was riding his motorcycle on Mandurah Road about 11.50pm last night when officers intercepted the vehicle.

The man was charged with reckless driving and his motorcycle impounded.

He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrate's Court on Friday March, 22, 2013.
