A juvenile offender who escaped custody in South Hedland this morning has been reapprehended.
A staff member at the courthouse said the 17-year-old was reported missing about 11.40am. He was found again by police about 12.30pm.
The boy had appeared in court on three charges and was to be remanded in custody before escaping. His charges included an indecent act in a police station, trespassing and failure to comply with a request to give personal details.
A Department of Corrective Services spokesman said the incident would be investigated.Sponsored links
