Man stabbed in neck with glass

A man has been stabbed in the neck with a glass after an argument at an Esperance pub.

A police spokesman said that at about 6 o'clock last night two backpackers who are known to each other were at

the Pier Hotel in Esperance became involved in an argument.

Police will allege that one of them struck the other with a glass, causing an injury to the victim’s neck.

A 22-year-old man from Neridup has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in the Esperance Magistrates Court on March 1, 2013.
