A Bushfire advice for east of Great Northern Highway between Stock Road and Walyunga Road and the southern part of Shady Hills in Bullsbrook in the City of Swan.
The fire, which started on Thursday morning, is contained and under control but Walyunga National Park remains closed.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises that there is no threat to lives or homes. Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.
"A fresh south westerly sea breeze is expected this afternoon which could challenge containment lines, so people in the area must continue to remain vigilant and stay alert," DFES said.
Approximately 1460 hectares have been burnt.
The rail line through the area is now open.
No roads are closed and speed restrictions are no longer in place.
Motorists should be aware of fire and other emergency services personnel working in the area.
