A 66-year-old Rockingham man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old boy more than 20 years ago.
Police allege the man was employed as an education officer by the Department for Community Services when he assaulted the boy.
The offence allegedly happened between April 1990 and June 1991 when the man was 43 years old and was in charge of a school and work transition program at Warminda, on Welshpool Road in East Victoria Park.
The man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and is due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court on March 7.Contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with information.
