Sword bandit robs TAB

LIAM CROY, The West Australian February 28, 2013, 7:03 am

A man wielding a sword held up a Bentley TAB last night.

Just before 7.30pm, a man entered the TAB on the corner of Albany Highway and Tate Street and threatened staff with a sword.

It is understood he left with a quantity of cash.

Inspector Trevor Davis said the offender was described as dark-skinned and about 178cm tall.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black shorts and gym shoes.
