A video store worker was threatened with a screwdriver in an armed robbery in the southern suburbs last night.
A police spokeswoman said that at about 9pm a man entered a video store located on South Street, O’Connor, walking around the store for a time before approaching the staff member.
The man produced a screwdriver and threatened the staff member, demanding money.
The man was given some cash and he left the store and was last seen heading west.
He is described as being dark skinned, aged in his 40s, approximately 183cm tall and was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt, pants and jacket.
He was also wearing a dark coloured baseball cap.Sponsored links
