A 50-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was dumped in the surf at Secret Harbour this morning.

The man was treated for possible spinal injuries by surf lifesavers at the beach.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said the man was transported to Rockingham Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
