Pedestrian hit by car in Nollamara

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car during peak hour in Nollamara this afternoon.

The crash, which happened on Wanneroo Road near Amelia Street about 5.20pm, is causing traffic delays in the area.

The northbound lanes of Wannerroo Road are closed and traffic is being diverted onto Beryl Street, onto Main Street and back onto Wanneroo Road.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
