Man dies at Quindanning fire scene

A 60-year-old man has died after a tree branch fell on him in Quindanning, near Williams, about 165km south-east of Perth today.

The man, believed to be a volunteer firefighter, was clearing land near Fletcher Road after a fire overnight.

He was rushed to Narrogin Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
