UPDATE 4.45pm Bushfire advice has been issued for several shires in South West WA.
In Manjimup, where the remains of a man were found in a burnt-out shack on Friday, a bushfire advice remains in place for people in the Kin Kin area bounded by Muir Highway, Wheatley Coast Road, Sutton Road, Beard Road, and Deeside Road, 25km east of Manjimup.
The fire, which started as a result of lightning strikes from a thunderstorm on Tuesday afternoon, is no threat to lives or homes but there is the possibility of smoke in the area. The bushfires have been contained and controlled.
A number of roads remain closed including: Tamm Road and Kin Kin Road and forest tracks within Kin Kin State Forest.
A bushfire advice remains in place for people in an area north of Camp Creek Road, Cassia Road and Five Gates Road, west of South Western Highway, south of Hay Road and east of Balingup Nannup Road in the Shires of Bridgetown-Greenbushes and Donnybrook-Balingup.
The bushfire, believed to have started with a lightning strike, is contained.
The following roads are closed: King Road, Southampton Road from Spring Gully Road to Five Gates Road.
The danger has passed but you need to remain vigilant in case the situation changes.The DEC says it is safe to return home. Residents and visitors are advised to drive slowly and with caution due to smoke and emergency services personnel working in the area.
