Spinal injuries feared after beach incident

A man has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital with suspected spine injuries after a water incident at Smiths Beach in Dunsborough this afternoon.

Details of how he was injured are not yet known although volunteer firefighters helped assist at the scene.

The man was taken to hospital via the RAC Rescue helicopter. His condition has yet to be assessed.
