A two-year-old girl was crushed to death yesterday after she pulled a television on to herself.

Police and paramedics were called to the home in Bendee Place, Atwell, about 3.30pm.

The girl was taken to Fremantle Hospital but died from her injuries.

Neighbours who spoke to _The West Australian _said the family were quiet and tended to keep to themselves.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Five-year-old Collie boy Peter Gelissen was killed when an old-style television fell on to him in October.

Princess Margaret Hospital recorded 85 injuries to children from falling televisions between 2009 and 2011.
