These first pictures released of Crown Perth’s luxury yacht Infinity provide a snapshot of the gambling giant’s bid to make WA one of the world’s high-rolling hotspots.

It includes a six-star food and beverage service delivered by crews of up to 25, who staff the 40m vessel for, on average, 100 trips a year. Bought in Italy and valued at about $40 million, the 249-tonne super-yacht costs about $1 million a year to run.

Features include a double shower in the master cabin, a stunning main dining salon, 10 toilets and beds for 10 guests and eight crew members.

Guests are also taken on coastal helicopter tours and shopping trips into the Perth CBD.

Crown Perth chief executive Barry Felstead said yesterday that the operation was now comparable with, and arguably better than, the world’s best high-roller destinations after a $750 million refurbishment as part of a $2.2 billion investment since 2004.
