A man has been charged after he allegedly punched a nurse at a South Hedland hospital last night.
The accused, who police allege had been drinking, was seeking treatment at Hedland Health Campus just before midnight when he attacked a female nurse.
South Hedland police First Class Constable Mick Kelly said the incident appeared to be unprovoked. He said the nurse received minor injuries.
The man was charged with assaulting a public officer and disorderly conduct.
He was released on bail and is due to face the South Hedland Magistrates Court at a later date.Sponsored links
