Motorcyclist airlifted after roo crash

Update: A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crashing into a kangaroo in Herron this afternoon.

The crash happened on on South Estuary Road, near Island Point Road at about 4.20pm.

The RAC Rescue helicopter took the man to Royal Perth Hospital where it landed at about 6pm.

The man's condition is still being assessed although he is understood to be in a stable condition.
