Liam Croy, The West Australian February 5, 2013, 9:36 am

A man missing in near Geraldton for nearly a week has been found dead.

The 37-year-old man was last seen by friends last Tuesday when they dropped him near Devlin Pool to pick up his motorcycle.

His family reported him missing on Saturday.

Police launched a search for the man yesterday and found his motorcycle lying on a steep hill about 4pm.

The man's body was found a short distance up the hill. It is believed he has come off his bike and sustained a fatal injury.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
