Gas leak closes Oxford Street

UPDATE 9.45am: Oxford Street has reopened after a gas leak shut down the area this morning.

Oxford Street would be off limits between Vincent Street and Leederville Parade for about hours this morning, disrupting businesses and traffic.

Fire crews and Alinta workers worked on the burst gas main since from 5am.
