A suspicious fire caused $500,000 dollars damage to a Wattle Grove home overnight.
Firefighters were called to the home on Hawthorn Street just before 8pm.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the blaze, which had engulfed the house.
No one was home at the time of the fire, Department of Fire and Emergency Services communications supervisor Nigel Elliott said.
Arson squad detectives will investigate the cause of the fire today.Sponsored links
