Rebecca Trigger, The West Australian January 31, 2013, 9:40 am

Police are hunting a man who used a car to smash through a fence and steal a local council's anti-graffiti trailer.

The man used a late model Toyota Landcruiser to pull down part of a fence on Planet Street.

He pulled into the yard, hitched up the trailer with license plate 1TJT800 and drove away.

It had two Honda compressors and a water pump on board and was valued at about $8000, police spokeswoman Sgt Naomi Smith said in a statement.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
