Three teenagers and two men have been charged after a burglary of an elderly woman's house in Rockingham on Sunday night.
Police allege three men forced entry to the 76-year-old woman's house on Mensa Close about midnight.
They confronted the woman and stole items from her home.
She was taken to hospital for treatment for shock.
Police have charged a 17-year-old from Warnbro, a 15-year-old from Mirrabooka and a 15-year-old from Wagin with aggravated burglary and one count of stealing.
They will appear in the Perth Children's Court tomorrow.
Two men have been charged after a police dog was injured during the investigation of the break in.
Rockingham police and a dog squad unit went to a property in Shoalwater, where they disturbed a burglary in progress on Hawkers Street.
Police dog Vector was struck in the head during his pursuit of two suspects from the Shoalwater burglary.
A 24 year old man from Coodanup was charged with one count of criminal damage, one count of cruelty to animals and one count of possessing a smoking implement.
A 34-year-old man from Dudley Park was charged with one count of obstructing a public officer and one count of possessing a smoking implement.They will appear in the Perth Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
