Murder charge after Withers stabbing

Update A man has been charged with murder after a man died during a fight at a house in Withers last night.

A 23-year-old man died after a disturbance at a home in Whitley Street at about 10.45pm.

When officers arrived they found the 23-year-old man with serious injuries they believe occurred as a result of an altercation at a nearby address.

He was taken to Bunbury Hospital where he died a short time later.

Police charged a 31-year-old Withers man with murder this afternoon. He will appear in Bunbury Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
