Police are investigating if several offences committed in Armadale overnight are linked to a vicious attack on a 22-year-old man.

The victim was approached by two men as he walked near Tudor Road about 2am.

A police spokesman said a conversation turned physical and one of the two men pulled a knife and attacked the man.

He was cut on his hands, arms and throat.

He was taken to Armadale Hospital and later moved to Fremantle Hospital.

His injuries are not life-threatening.

Detectives are looking into several offences committed nearby, including several thefts from cars on Fifth Avenue, a commercial burglary on Commerce Avenue and a damage offence on Commerce Avenue, as part of their investigation into the assault.

The men are dark skinned and one of them was wearing a hat.

Anyone with information on any of the incidents is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
