Tributes for Italian 'angels'

Friends of an Italian couple who were killed in a car accident in the South West have expressed their disbelief online as news of their death reached them.

Marco Beghetto and Erica Pasinato, both 25, were killed when the car they were travelling in along Seven Day Road in Manjimup crashed into a tree after the driver overcorrected when he lost control.

The car was carrying three other Italian backpackers who are being treated at Royal Perth Hospital for serious injuries.

The couple had been driving around the South West in a campervan picking up odd jobs.

Friends in Italy have written about them on Facebook. One said he struggled to pray to a God that had taken away such good people.
