Ernie tracks backyard trespasser

A 36-year-old Coolbellup man has been charged with trespassing after a police dog found him in a Coolbellup backyard last night.

Police were called after a woman heard two men talking in the backyard of her Cordelia Avenue home.

The woman screamed, causing the two men to run way.

Police searched the area with police dog Ernie, who found the man in the yard of a nearby property on Tait Place.
