Hunt for Beldon bandit

Phoebe Wearne, The West Australian January 21, 2013, 12:19 pm

Police are calling for help with their investigation into two armed robberies in Beldon late last year.

A man entered the BP service station on Eddystone Avenue, threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded cash about 9pm on November 16.

Police believe the same man tried to rob a fast food restaurant on the corner of Ocean Reef Road and Eddystone Avenue a short time later.

The man threatened a staff member at the KFC store with a knife.

He was handed a sum of money and fled.

The man is about 185cm tall and 20 to 30 years old with a fair complexion, slim to medium build, brown eyes and a thin brown moustache.

He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue jeans, a white baseball cap and black and white Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
