Truck driver injured in rollover

Update, 3pm: A man has been seriously injured in a truck rollover east of Perth this morning.

The man was driving a truck carrying logs over Weir Road when the truck rolled, trapping him inside at about 9.30am.

He was freed from the truck by fire crews.

The man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.

He was understood to have been going to the area to assist after a truck broke down in the area.
