Two boys have been charged over a fire that caused millions of dollars damage to the Shire of Ashburton Offices in Onslow on Sunday.

Police and emergency services were called to the blaze on Second Avenue about 7pm but could not save the shire offices or Onslow Town Hall.

A 10-year-old and an 11-year-old have been charged with aggravated burglary, stealing and criminal damage by fire.

They will appear in the Onslow Children's Court tomorrow.

Four juveniles, who are below the age of criminal responsibility, have also been dealt with by police.
