A 37-year-old Kirup man has had his car impounded after he was allegedly caught drink driving with a suspended license twice in one night.
Police stopped the man on Bussell Highway in West Busselton to conduct a random breath test about 6pm last night.
He was served a disqualification notice after being charged with excess 0.08 and no authority to drive.
At 7.15pm police stopped the same man as he was driving along Albert Street in Busselton.
Police again breath tested the man and charged him with excess 0.05 and no authority to drive.
A police spokesman said because the man had been issued a disqualification notice earlier in the night, officers were able to impound his Ford Laser for 28 days.
"The first time the vehicle wasn't eligible due to the nature of his suspension," he said. The man will appear in court on February 18.
