Car crashes through Singleton fence

The West Australian January 13, 2013, 9:56 am

The rear patio of property in Singleton was damaged when a car crashed through the back fence.

About 1.45am, the Toyota Hilux was seen to be parked near houses on Reilly Street with the engine running and lights on.

The driver of the vehicle could not be roused by residents, the car then suddenly accelerated through a vacant block and into the fence.

The car continued on, narrowly missing a swimming pool, and eventually crashing into the patio.

The 37-year-old male driver was taken to Peel Health Campus, but did not receive any injuries.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
