Police seized a sword after a brawl in Koondoola last night which left one man in hospital.
Officers were called to Swincer Way just after 9pm when a fight broke out between two groups of youths and were forced to block off the street.
Inspector Ian Clarke said some of the men were holding bats, poles and even a sword.
It was unclear if the sword was used in the fight.
Five people were hurt in the brawl but all received only minor injuries.
A man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with head injuries but the other injured people refused medical attention.Sponsored links
