Car impounded for 28 days after 120km/h sprint

Police have impounded a car that was allegedly driven more than double the speed limit in Bibra Lake.

Officers spotted the 2009 red Holden Club Sport while they were using a laser speed gun on Port Kembla Drive about 8.40am yesterday.

The 25-year-old driver, from Calista, was allegedly travelling 120km/h in a 50km/h speed zone.

His car has been impounded for 28 days and he is facing further charges.
