Woman and her carer robbed at knifepoint

Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery on a woman and her carer in Midland earlier this month.

The incident occurred about 9.40am on December 18 when a 53-year-old woman and her 36-year-old female carer were walking along Great Northern Highway.

The pair were near Margaret Street when they were approached by a man and a woman.

A man, who was brandishing a knife, demanded the victims hand over their bags.

One of the victims threw her handbag to the man and the pair ran off.

The female offender is described as about 16, with light brown skin and a slim build. Her dark hair was tied loosely in a knot and she was carrying a black handbag.

The male offender is described as about 16 with dark skin. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black tank top and grey-brown shorts.
