Car pulled from freeway embankment

The West Australian December 12, 2012, 3:17 pm

Emergency services are pulling a car from an embankment near Warwick Road on the Mitchell Freeway.

It is believed the car veered off the freeway and hit a tree.

A police spokesman said the exact circumstances of the crash were still unknown.

“We don’t know if it’s a car versus car crash and one has gone off the road or if it’s just a car that’s gone off the road,” he said.

Traffic is heavy in the area and emergency services are still on site.

Is it not yet known if the driver of the car was injured.
