Motorists in the south of Western Australia have been warned to expect major delays after a truck carrying nearly 50,000 litres of milk rolled over on Albany Highway.
The truck spilled its load onto the major route near Mount Barker, with motorists told to expect delays and obey traffic management.
Police said the truck driver suffered a suspected broken wrist and lacerations in the crash.
The truck’s diesel tank also ruptured, with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services dealing with the clean up of both the milk and fuel.
Traffic in both directions was being managed via one lane, with the road set to be closed for several hours, police said.
