Police see witnesses to train glassing

Police are seeking witnesses to a serious glassing attack on a Perth train last month.

The incident occured between 9.30pm and 10pm on a train as it pulled into the Perth Underground Station on November 23.

The 29-year-old victim received serious stab wounds after being hit in the face with a glass bottle.

A 21-year-old Port Kennedy man has been charged with unlawful wounding and will appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court today.

A police spokeswoman said several people were on the train at the time.
