The woman allegedly responsible for a string of robberies across the City will face court today.

Police charged the 31-year-old with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery and one count of stealing a motor vehicle after she was taken into custody in Koondoola last night.

She will appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court today.

The crime spree began in Padbury, where she is alleged to have robbed a man at the BP service station around 7am.

After crashing her ute in Merriwa, police said she travelled to Warwick Shopping Centre where she stole a woman’s silver Mazda 3 sedan at knifepoint.

She is then alleged to have committed bank robberies in Dianella and Booragoon, before getting in a taxi and forcing the driver at knifepoint to drive her to a number of different locations.

The woman was apprehended at the Koondoola Shopping Centre when she was tackled by the taxi driver and other bystanders.
