Daniel Kerr welcomes second daughter

The recent baby boom at the West Coast Eagles has continued, with Daniel Kerr and partner Natasha Pozo welcoming the birth of their second daughter.

Ruby June Kerr was born this morning, with the club quick to herald the new arrival.

"It’s a girl! Welcome to the nest, little Ruby June Kerr," the club posted via its Twitter account.

Kerr is understood to have broken the news to friends and family via text message, with both mum and baby in good health.

Baby sister to Lola Kerr, Ruby June joins a string of young faces in the Eagles Nest, with Matt Priddis, Darren Glass, Dean Cox, Andrew Embley and Mark LeCras all nursing young toddlers or expecting new arrivals.

But the rush of newborns will not equate into future Father/Son talent for the Club, with the current crop of bubs containing only daughters.
