One trapped in Bedford crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash involving two cars and a pedestrian in Bedford.

The crash happened near the intersection of May and Beaufort streets about 1pm and one person is believed to be trapped in a vehicle.

Initial reports are that one person may have been ejected from a car.

Police, fire and rescue officers and paramedics are attending the crash.

Lengthy traffic delays are expected and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
