Man charged over pharmacy robbery

A 28-year-old Willagee man has been charged today in relation to the armed robbery of a Hilton pharmacy in October, 2011.

About 7:45am on October 5 the man allegedly approached the counter of a South Street pharmacy, produced a knife and demanded medications.

The staff member handed over the stock and the offender left the store.

Today, Regional Investigations Unit detectives executed search warrants in Leeming and Willagee and arrested the 28-year-old.

He was charged with armed robbery and will appear in Fremantle Magistrate's Court on Friday.
