Police are calling for witnesses to a fatal crash that claimed the life of a young man in Northam this month.
The car was earlier involved in a police chase before it crashed into a pole on Stirling Street about 7:45pm on November 2.
A 20-year-old passenger died as a result of the crash.
A 30-year-old man was yesterday charged with dangerous driving occasioning death in circumstances of aggravation, and no authority to drive.
He was due to appear in the Perth Magistrate's Court today.
An internal affairs investigation into whether the car was being pursued by police at the time of the crash is ongoing, police spokesman Samuel Dinnison said in a statement.Anyone who witnessed, or has any information about the crash, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
