House fire in western suburbs

STAFF REPORTER, The West Australian November 11, 2012, 8:35 am

Firefighters tackled a blaze at a property in Perth's western suburbs this morning.

An ambulance was also called to the house on Erica Avenue in Mt Claremont, but it is understood the occupants escaped serious injury.

Firefighters were called to attend the house fire about 7.45am and the blaze was under control within 25 minutes.

It is unknown what sparked the fire. A fire investigation officer will visit the property.
