An 81-year-old man allegedly had his ear bitten off in an argument over a parking space outside a block of units in Dianella yesterday.
Police believe the man was arguing with an 80-year-old neighbour in Chester Avenue when the dispute turned physical and his right ear was bitten off.
When the victim walked away from the alleged scuffle, the other man alerted him to an item on the ground which he put in his pocket, only realising it was his own ear once he was inside his unit.
Medical attention was sought and the Police were called.
An 80-year-old Dianella man has been charged with grievous bodily harm over the incident.
He was awarded bail in court this morning to reappear on December 7.Sponsored links
