Residents of a Kalgoorlie home have escaped unharmed after it was gutted by fire this morning.
Firefighters arrived at the scene just after 6.30am and managed to bring the fire under control.
While the occupants escaped without injury, the fire destroyed the interior of the house, causing about $300,000 damage.
The house was one of a string of older properties on Edgar Street considered to be particularly vulnerable to fire damage.Sponsored links
