Two killed on Brand Highway

Update, 6.10pm: Two people have died after their car collided with a truck on the Brand Highway in Warradarge this afternoon.

The crash occurred at 13.27pm near Coorow-Green Head Road, about 260km north of Perth. Police said the car was underneath the truck.

The two people killed are believed to be the car's driver and only passenger.

It is understood the truck driver was cut free from his vehicle. He has minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Emergency services have left the crash scene.
