Utility Adam McPhee will see out his AFL career at Fremantle but the Dockers could be losing a defensive player as the league's trade period heads to a close.
McPhee has signed a one-year contract extension that will tie with 30-year-old to the club until the end of next season.
The 223-game veteran had earlier this month agreed to remain with the Dockers but the final deal wasn't revealed until today.
However, the Dockers could be set to trade Greg Broughton with the Subiaco recruit being keenly sought by Port Adelaide and St Kilda.
Broughton has played 68 matches for the Dockers after being a rookie squad selection in 2009. He played 15 matches in 2012 before a hand injury ended his season.
The 26-year-old has previously played under St Kilda coach Scott Watters at Subiaco.
There were no trades done by AFL clubs today.POLL: Is Ross Lyon too tough on the Dockers?
