Shark detected in Scarborough

STAFF REPORTERS, The West Australian October 14, 2012, 9:26 am

A tagged great white shark has been detected near Scarborough beach.

The shark set off three recievers near Scarborough Beach early this morning.

Surf Life Saving WA said Scarborough beach was closed for an hour but has now been reopened.

Cottesloe Beach is now being patrolled but is closed due to excessive seaweed.
