Police have charged two men after seizing about 60kg of cannabis near the border of Western Australia and South Australia.

The two Maddington men, aged 45 and 37-years-old have been charged with possess prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply after Eucla police discovered the haul when conducting a regular border patrol.

The men appeared via phone link in Kalgoorlie Magistrate’s Court today and have been remanded in custody.

It will be alleged an estimated 60kg of cannabis was found in their utility vehicle yesterday.

Organised crime squad and Kalgoorlie Detectives are continuing their inquiries.
