Man stabbed in Nollamara park

A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the side as he was walking through a park reading a text message in Nollamara overnight.

Police said he was walking past barbecue facilities near Karabil Way when an unknown man stabbed him from behind.

He called police and was taken to hospital where he was treated for a superficial wound to his left abdomen.
