Police are searching for a group who smashed their way into a shopping centre this morning in a stolen 4WD.

A police spokeswoman said the thieves used a Toyota Landcruiser to ram the front doors of the Mullaloo Plaza shopping centre on Koorana Road early this morning, causing about $80,000 damage.

She said three or four people were in the vehicle when it ploughed through the entrance about 1.30am.

The 4WD rammed an ATM in the mall.

After exiting the shopping centre and abandoning the Landcruiser on Koorana Road, the group ran across a park and fled in another 4WD.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
